Good Pickin’ Farm is home to three unique educational programs: Acres of Fun, a nature-based preschool, the Apple Shed Academy, an arts integrated micro-school and Farm to Forest, a social group for homeschool children. Together, they form a vibrant community where children grow, learn, and explore in a dynamic farm setting.

Fostering a Love of Learning and Adventure
Our educational approach is rooted in encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a deep connection to nature. A significant part of each day is spent outdoors, exploring fields, trails, and woods, and engaging with the farm's animals. Children develop a sense of wonder, responsibility, and resilience through hands-on activities and immersive experiences.

We welcome children ages 2 years 9 months through 13 years old, providing a continuum of learning that supports every child at their own pace.

A Unique Setting for Learning and Play
Nestled on 85 picturesque acres in Westford, our farm offers endless opportunities for exploration, discovery, and play. We have cozy indoor areas that complement the farm’s expansive outdoor spaces.

• Quiet Reflection Spaces: Special areas for rest and contemplation.

• Access to over 1,000 acres of pristine conservation land, including trails leading to the MIT Haystack Observatory for extended adventures.
